Normally direct messaging service is available in social media apps, But now in chatgpt will use this feature. Open AI testing this services in chatgpt. Apparently, this feature will change chatgpt into a social media platform.
In chatgpt beta version code revealed this thing for android devices. In a report, in Chatgpt users will be able to send direct messages to each other or group messages.
In beta test version Open AI testing chat features like profile pictures , user names and block unblock features. That shows Open AI want to make it as social media platform.
Regarding these features , still there are limited information and it is not clear that during this chat user could use AI bot or not.
